Thai Airways (THAI) has started the new flight services to Vienna in Austria, providing a convenient gateway to European destinations via this Central Europe hub.
Through EzyCustoms, THAI is submitting electronic cargo declarations on arriving shipments to the Austrian Customs for advance Customs clearance. EzyCustoms validate the shipment data according to the Customs requirement before the submission of the Entry Summary Declaration. The system also supports THAI to receive the acknowledgement and status messages returned from the Austrian Customs.
Serving as a Global Customs Gateway, EzyCustoms provides THAI with a single platform for electronic multi-Customs filings, which copes with the Import Control System (ICS) requirement of the EU Customs Union, as well as with the Advanced Cargo Information (ACI) requirements at different Customs Authorities worldwide.
EzyCustoms customers include: AirBridgeCargo (RU), Cathay Pacific Airways (CX), China Eastern Airlines (MU), EVA Air (BR), Thai Airways (TG), Thai Air Asia (FD), and Xiamen Airways (MF); connecting them to multiple Customs Authorities in countries such as Bangladesh, Canada, China, EU Countries, India, Philippines, Taiwan, USA, and Vietnam.
