ACI Asia-Pacific elected its new President and Board of Directors at its regional assembly in Narita, Japan. Mr. Seow Hiang Lee, CEO of Changi Airport Group was elected ACI Asia-Pacific President for a two-year term with immediate effect. Mr. Lee was appointed President in February 2018 to serve the unexpired term of Ms. Kerrie Mather, who retired at the end of January 2018.
Commenting on his new role as President of ACI Asia-Pacific, Mr. Lee said, “ACI has long been at the forefront in fostering cooperation among its member airports and other partners in world aviation and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the President of ACI Asia-Pacific region. I will continue to work closely with Patti and the Regional Board to ensure that ACI remains relevant to the changing needs of our members and contribute towards a safe, secure, efficient and environmentally sustainable air transport system. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our Past President, Ms. Kerrie Mather for her contributions and her leadership in strengthening ACI Asia-Pacific, and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.”
