The Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is expanding it’s client portfolio in Scandinavia, as they add on three new airline cargo handling contracts to their pre-existing ones.
In Copenhagen, WFS is now handling Ukraine International Airlines’ 10 Boeing 737 flights a week connecting the Danish capital with Kiev. WFS now provides cargo handling services to 25 online airlines in Copenhagen and ensures the highest levels of safety, security and service for some 110,000 tonnes per annum.
In Arlanda, Sweden, China Eastern has chosen WFS to handle cargo carried onboard its seasonal A330-200 service to Shanghai, which is operating four times a week until 24 October. This is WFS’ second new contract in Sweden in a matter of weeks. Ukraine International Airlines’ 12 Arlanda-Kiev flights per week will also be handled in the WFS cargo terminal with effect from August 1.
Jimi Daniel Hansen, WFS’ General Manager Scandinavia, commented: “These new contracts reinforce WFS’ reputation as a leading provider of high quality cargo handling services for customers in Scandinavia. We thank Ukraine International Airlines and China Eastern for their confidence in our local teams in Copenhagen and Arlanda.”
