Lufthansa Cargo extended its partnership with IT solutions provider CHAMP Cargosystems after renewing the use of CHAMP’s cargoHUB network and data management portal, announced a press release.
The carrier, whose 2019 results saw €2.5 billion in turnover and €8.9 billion in revenue tonne-kilometers, will continue to benefit from the synergies and cargo insights of CHAMP’s TRAXON CDMP, a tool that measures over 40% of the worldwide Cargo iQ airline shipments.
It will also be able to utilise CHAMP’s TRAXON cargoHUB, a platform that links airlines to freight forwarders.
The industry partners are already exploring enhancements in CDMP reporting and CHAMP’s message improvement program reporter, the release added.
“Our relationship to CHAMP and its technologies have brought us through to a more digitalized world. We are happy to continue leveraging its reliable solutions through the 2020s,” says Dr. Jochen Göttelmann, CIO at Lufthansa Cargo.
