GTA dnata has completed its IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) Registration, after a comprehensive audit of the company and its ground-handling operations at the Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).
Antonio Alvarez, CEO of GTA dnata welcomed the ISAGO registration for its Toronto operations, where the ground handler provides ramp, passenger and cargo handling services to 17 airlines.
“We are committed to engaging our colleagues at all levels of the organisation and consistently invest in training, process improvement and technology to ensure the highest level of safety across our operations,” said Alvarez.

“The ISAGO Registration is a testament to our team’s hard work, dedication and industry-leading achievements, he added, noting that the company continues to enhance its safety culture by further improving work practices and developing the team.
The company’s customer-oriented team assisted 1.2 million passengers and moved over 90,000 tonnes of cargo in 2019. GTA dnata will further expand its footprint in Canada by launching operations at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) in early 2021.
ISAGO is an audit program for ground-handling companies serving airlines at airports covering the areas of organisation and management, load control, passenger and baggage handling, aircraft handling and loading and aircraft ground movement.
