China Southern Airlines has approved the Envirotainer Releye RLP for usage on its fleet, becoming the first mainland Chinese carrier to approve the temperature-controlled air cargo container.
This will increase the airline’s capacity to provide ULD for shippers and forwarder that need to transport temperature-sensitive goods, such as pharmaceuticals, at a time when most supply chains are considering every mode to get cargo delivered safely and on time.
China Southern Airlines joins China Airlines in Asia Pacific to have approved the use of Releye RLP on its network, along with Qatar Airways, Emirates and United Airlines.
