SAL Saudi Logistics Services has announced the extension of its station at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on 19 December, a press release confirmed.
The new extension spans over 61,000 square meters and features cold chain and storage facilities with infrastructure for special and highly sensitive cargo.
SAL said it is adding more high-quality services to its existing ground handling services, including different state-of-the-art cargo facilities that are compliant to the industry’s highest international standards.

SAL’s CEO, Hesham Alhussayen, added that the new extension will offer comprehensive services for import and exports, medical and food, dangerous cargo, and others which will be facilitated under world-class security measures and using the latest automated ground handling systems.
SAL chairman Fawaz AlFawaz said the launch reflects the company’s logistics expertise to provide more developed services and solutions in and out of airports and serve international markets, enhancing the connectivity of Saudi Arabia’s cargo ports in line with the national programme to transform the Kingdom into a global logistics hub.
