Starting July of this year, freight forwarders will have access to Singapore Airlines’ cargo capacity using the cargo.one marketplace.
SIA said the partnership with cargo.one is a further step in applying digital innovation to deliver the ‘best possible digital experience for its cargo customers.’
The partnership will also provide cargo.one users with additional access to other Asian destinations such as Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai, and Manila.
The airline decided to partner with cargo.one based on its strength of technology, proven track record in facilitating excellent digital booking experiences, and its ‘expert collaborative approach for unlocking maximum airline agility and value from digital distribution.’
Both companies share a strong motivation to continually raise standards and efficiencies in all aspects of cargo booking”, says Moritz Claussen, founder & Co-CEO of cargo.one. “Among many aspects, Singapore Airlines Cargo brings to the table invaluable Asia market insights”, he adds.
To support company growth in the region, cargo.one recently appointed industry veteran Fabrice Godeau as vice president for airlines at Asia Pacific.
