Kerry Logistics Network is responding to growing demand for multimodal options with a new one-stop solution (1S2) for imports and exports between the UK and Turkey.
The new service features supply chain visibility through an online portal called KTreker and covers all modes to cater to customers who are looking for alternative sourcing locations outside Asia.
Kerry Logistics is one of IATA’s primary cargo agents in Turkey and the company said the one-stop solution 1S2 was developed for full container load (FCL) and less than container load (LCL) fast transit services to all UK ports; daily full truckload (FTL) and less than truckload (LTL) across the EU; bonded and non-bonded, consolidation, value-added and quality control warehousing solutions, as well as in-house customs clearance.

“Turkey is a growth market and key cargo hub for the UK, particularly for textiles and fashion, automotive cargo and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) which have seen a strong surge in demand as companies search for alternative sourcing locations outside of Asia,” said Emma Rowlands, strategic sales director at Kerry Logistics UK.
She added that KLN, which has presence across 58 countries and territories, has locations throughout the UK and expert trade teams in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and Bursa.
In combination with the 1S2, the company offers a clearance service on both commercial and low-value channels which is applicable for e-commerce. The Hong Kong-listed 3PL player also provides trade compliance, customs advisory and other consulting services for businesses looking to enter the Turkish market.
