South Korean low-cost airline T’way Air has chosen Jettainer to provide unit load device (ULD) management services under a 5-year contract.
Jettainer has been providing containers and pallets for the Seoul-based airline’s three new Airbus A330 aircraft since 1 March of this year. ULDs provided and managed by Jettainer will initially fly on routes between Gimpo International Airport and Jeju International Airport with international flights to Singapore and Vietnam set to follow.

T’way, with a current fleet of Boeing 737-800s, is scheduled to take delivery of three leased widebody Airbus A330-300 aircraft by May. Jettainer will provide the airline with a customized ULD fleet and will manage the steering, maintenance and repair of all units.
The low-cost airline plans to add seven more A330-300s to its fleet by 2025 and begin medium-haul and long-haul flights to destinations like Sydney, Croatia and Honolulu.
