Nippon Express (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd opened a new warehouse in the free commercial zone (FCZ) at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) on April 1.
The new warehouse located at the Cainiao Aeropolis eWTP Hub will expand the forwarder’s existing work and cargo storage space in Malaysia and give it a combined warehouse space of around 9,700 sqm.
Nippon Express has been operating out of a 3,746-sqm warehouse in the MAS Freight Forwarders Complex at Kuala Lumpur airport’s FCZ. The forwarder says growing cargo demand over recent years prompted it to open a new facility in the same location.
Nippon Express added that the more efficient work flow lines available at the new warehouse will allow safer and more rapid handling in its operations.
