The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) is looking to bring the industry to discuss market issues with the launch of a regional symposium series, which it will kick-start in Amsterdam.
The first regional symposium will be held on June 28th, hosted by Schiphol Airport at the Amsterdam City Centre. The event will include one day of interactive conference sessions, an evening reception and a tour of the airport on the next day.
The programme will include important discussions on sustainability, market challenges, people issues and the economic outlook, as well as digitalization, safety and security issues.
TIACA said the price point or attendance fees will be set low to encourage both members and non-members to join, with each symposium developing a regional action plan that will be incorporated into the group’s strategic objectives and activities.
In April, the industry trade group called for nominations for the fourth edition of the Air Cargo Sustainability Awards, sponsored by CHAMP Cargosystems. The competition aims to recognize outstanding businesses and industry initiatives leading the way to a more sustainable air cargo industry.
