Singapore Airlines’s low-cost carrier Scoot has named Leslie Thng as its incoming CEO effective 16 June 2022.

Thng, who has been with the SIA Group for 23 years, was the CEO of Indian airline Vistara, a SIA-Tata Sons joint venture, between October 2017 and December 2021. He is currently SIA’s senior vice president of sales and marketing.

He will take over the duties of predecessor Campbell Wilson, who will subsequently join Air India as its new CEO.

Wilson, who joined SIA in April 1996, has been the CEO of Scoot since April 2020. He also served as the senior vice president of sales and marketing at SIA between September 2016 and March 2020.
