Hong Kong Air Cargo is adding regular capacity between Hong Kong and Tokyo with the launch of a new scheduled service to Narita Airport each week.
The new service, which commenced on 9 July, will see the express fly between HKG and NRT every Saturday. Hong Kong Air Cargo said it plans to convert charter services into scheduled routes depending on the market situation.
The move comes as Hong Kong continues to maintain its position as a leading cargo aviation hub.
The airline last year was granted permission to operate scheduled services to nine destinations including Tokyo.
