Turkish Airlines and Vietnam Airlines have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation at the Farnborough International Airshow held last week.
The carriers will expand their cooperation in transporting passengers and cargo, along with studying the opportunity for a passenger codeshare cooperation on flight routes between Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City and Istanbul.
Turkish Airlines and Vietnam Airlines will work more closely in cargo transport through the implementation of a codeshare partnership, which is expected to take effect in 2023.
The airlines say the cooperation will not only open up new opportunities to enhance the competitiveness and develop business but also promote economic, cultural and social exchanges amongst Türkiye, Vietnam, Europe and the Middle East region.
