Holding company BBN Cargo Airlines plans to establish a new airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport as it looks to capitalise on growth in the region.
The newly established cargo airline BBN Airlines Indonesia has set up its operations on 31 August 31 and is in the process of getting the airline business license.
BBN Cargo Airlines, which operates Iceland-based cargo airline Bluebird Nordic, said the license should be ready this year, as it hopes to gain an aircraft operator certificate (AOC) in the second quarter of 2023.
