Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has been awarded a contract to handle the new Boeing 777 freighter flights at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) of Chinese logistics player Zongteng Group.
The new 777F service, in collaboration with Central Airlines, will fly between Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport and CDG and provide 15,000 tonnes of annual cargo capacity. The new route is the Zongteng Group’s latest initiative to support Sino-European cross-border trade.
The group plans to add a second Boeing 777F in the third quarter of 2023 and increase its SZX-CDG operations to 6-8 flights per week. The company expects to increase its available capacity to a projected 28,000 tonnes in 2024.
Zongteng Group offers cross-border e-commerce services, including fulfilment and customised supply chain solutions, through its sub-brands YunExpress, Elogistic and Worldtech. It reported a turnover of €3.85 billion in 2021.
