Dorothea von Boxberg is set to become the new CEO of Brussels Airlines and will take over in Belgium starting 15 April 2023.
Dorothea von Boxberg started in Lufthansa in 2007, and since then held various management positions. In 2015, Dorothea von Boxberg moved to Lufthansa Cargo AG and headed the Global Sales Management department. In 2018, she was appointed to the executive board where she was responsible for global cargo sales, network planning, product management and product development. She has been leading Lufthansa Cargo as chairperson of the executive board since 2021.
The airline said a successor for von Boxberg will be announced as soon as possible. In her new role, she will also assume the function of “Representative of the Executive Board to the European Commission.”
