Logistics and transport group Militzer & Münch, based in Switzerland, is expanding its presence in Asia and has opened its Vietnamese subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh.

Militzer & Münch Vietnam said it will offer the full range of services, with a special focus on air and sea transport. The group has been pursuing a growth strategy in the Asia-Far East-Oceania region, including forming a new company in New Zealand in 2022.

The Swiss company has been operating in China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and New Zealand, and Vietnam will now be the fifth national subsidiary in the region. The company anticipates serving different industries for imports and exports, with a large part of the transport volume will be generated by sea and air transportation. Peter Schüpbach will head the new subsidiary.
