Silk Way West Airlines and container lessor ACL Airshop have extended their partnership with a comprehensive multi-year ULD agreement, which they plan to extend to other aspects of their air freight operations.
The Baku-based carrier wants to streamline its cargo-handling processes to ensure quicker turnaround and transit times for shipments. ACL Airshop will provide cutting-edge unit load device (ULD) solutions by leveraging technology to enhance cargo protection, tracking, and supply chain visibility.
The partnership will see the provision of innovative logistical management technologies, including the introduction of Bluetooth innovation for real-time ULD tracking.
Silk Way West said both companies are committed to sustainable practices and will feature joint initiatives to reduce carbon footprint and promote eco-friendly solutions within the air cargo industry.
