Chapman Freeborn, part of Avia Solutions Group, is strengthening its presence in Asia Pacific, and neighbouring India, Middle East and Africa with two new appointments and a brand-new office in Riyadh.
The air charter specialist has elected Mark Thibault as APAC president, whilst Alain Champonnois will take the helm as boss for the IMEA cluster.
Thibault has been in business aviation for 40 years, holding mission-critical business, quality, safety, and senior management roles for well-known operators in the Middle East, Asia, and the United States. Champonnois has held senior positions in business aviation for over 25 years.
Eric Erbacher, Group CEO, Chapman Freeborn, is confident their combined experience and local market knowledge will help execute the company’s ambitious growth strategies for both regions. The company earlier mentioned it will focus on the business aviation sector and the development of its cargo industry verticals, including automotive, humanitarian, and energy, oil and gas.
