Silk Way West Airlines has renewed its International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification, highlighting the airline’s ongoing commitment to safety and operational excellence.
This is the sixth time the cargo airline has successfully passed the rigorous IOSA audit since joining IATA in 2015, demonstrating its consistent adherence to the latest international safety requirements in air cargo transport.
The comprehensive evaluation covered multiple operational areas, including cargo and flight operations, ground handling, maintenance services, and air traffic safety, showcasing the carrier’s dedication to maintaining its excellent safety record.
According to airline fleet observers, Silk Way West currently operates a fleet of 14 aircraft, which include two 777Fs that have been with the carrier for less than a year and 12 747Fs with an average age of over 16 years.
