The Cool Chain Association (CCA) has welcomed Chiara Venuti, Vice President, Global Drug Distribution at MARKEN to its Board.
Chiara brings a wide pharmaceutical supply chain perspective to the panel of experts leading the group. Venuti joins the Association leadership team as the CCA plans new projects with like-minded groups in the temperature-controlled supply chain, including launching a study with pharma.aero.
“I am looking forward to further supporting our industry by joining the Board of Cool Chain Association. We are committed to help drive strategic initiatives in the Cool Chain space that will bring value to the many stakeholders involved,” said Venuti, Vice President, Global Drug Distribution at MARKEN.
Venuti has over 20 years’ experience in logistics, with a focus on perishables and temperature-controlled supply chain solutions, holding senior positions, including at Kuehne + Nagel, and, most recently, at Skycell AG.
CCA recently grew its Board with the appointments of Natalie Niers, Chief Operating Officer, Validaide and Ian Buck, Head of Business development, AEROTURF whilst appointing Vijan Chetty its new treasurer.
CCA chairman Stavros Evangelakakis, Cargolux Airlines, will be chairing the Airfreight Pharma conference in Istanbul, Turkey, from the 29th to 31st October.
Details regarding the new pharma.aero programme will be announced soon.
