Dalian, in northeastern China, has modernised its old airport terminal, expanding it by 65,000 square meters, and installing ten airbridges. Other work performed was the provision of 48 check-in counters, fi ve baggage conveyor systems and the western apron area was enlarged to cater for six more parking slots.
Further planning, with a price tag of RMB920 million is for a modern logistics center, with the aim that Dalian becomes an airfreight pivot center for the northeast.
