Menlo Worldwide has announced completion of the acquisition of Southeast Asia freight forwarder and logistics company Cougar Holdings Pte Ltd. Cougar and its subsidiary Cougar Express with operations in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, was acquiredfor US$33.9 million.

The acquisition adds 12 operating locations in the region and a client base of nearly 200 businesses. In its most recent fi scal year, Cougar Express recorded US$23 million in revenues.“The completion of this transaction isan important competitive milestone forMenlo in Asia,” said Menlo Worldwidepresident Robert Bianco. “We’ve alreadyidentifi ed opportunities for growth andcost synergies, as well as potential newservice offerings we can bring to marketfor our customers in Southeast Asia.”
