Etihad Airways, the national carrierof the United Arab Emirates, is to introducelarger aircraft on its Kuala Lumpur-Abu Dhabi route due to strong demand,Bernama News Agency reported.
The Boeing 777-300ER will replacethe Airbus A340-300 aircraft that iscurrently being used on the route andthe cargo capacity also increases to 20tonnes, the airline said.
Etihad Airways country managerhere, Lindsay White, said since theservice began just over two monthsago, "we have seen an astonishing demand for our flights to Abu Dhabi and beyond."
Etihad flies six times a week (exceptSaturday) between Kuala Lumpur andAbu Dhabi.
