The format of the Air Freight Asia Conference, which was previously structured on two full days of five sessions each, has undergone some changes to give delegates more time for networking.

"Based on feedback, which we received after the event in Shanghai last year, we felt that the original format of the conference, which included cocktail receptions and buffet dinners in the evening, was no longer appropriate," said Air Freight Asia organiser Nol van Fenema.

"Increasingly, many delegates were engaged in their own social programmes with local customers which, for perfectly understandable reasons, resulted in lower attendance levels at our sponsored evening programmes," he added.

"Due to the increase in the number of exhibition days from two to four, and the substantially larger number of trade visitors to Asian Aerospace and thus to the Air Freight Asia exhibition, the demand from delegates for time with customers had further expanded," he said.

"With the reduced number of sessions, we hope to allow our delegates sufficient time to not only visit the Air Freight Asia exhibition, but also the numerous other exhibitors at the Asian Aerospace Expo," van Fenema said.
