Freight traffic carried on scheduled services to and from Vatry airport last year totalled 33,000 tonnes, an increase of 12.3 percent on 2005.

Global traffic remained stable at close to 38,000 tonnes. Growth in regular traffic was in large part due to the rise in perishable foodstuffs volumes (fruit, vegetables and fish) transported by cargo airline, Avient, which introduced a second DC10-30F in September 2006.
