CEVA Logistics has expanded its activitieswith General Motors outside theUS with a new contract with GeneralMotors (Thailand).
This is the first logistics contractbetween CEVA and GM in Thailand. ‘General Motors is the biggest automotivecompany in the world, and theiroperation in Thailand is extensive,’commented CEVA’s business development director Matthew Stimpson. ‘The new contract will further strengthen our global relationship with GM, which includes significant operations in the US, South America, Europe and Australia.’
The CEVA operation will involvethe collection of components fromsuppliers, for delivery to GM’s plantin Rayong, Thailand. The contract isexpected to grow significantly duringits second year.
