Hong Kong’s Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) has announced that it has set itself higher service standards to speed up the handling of general import cargo by up to three hours.
Under the new service standards, the cargo breakdown time for passenger/ combi flights has been reduced by two hours to under three hours for cargo of less than 10 tonnes, and to less than four hours for cargo of 10 tonnes or more.
For freighters, the cargo breakdown time has been cut by three hours to take five hours.
