Saudi Airlines Cargo Co. will start operating freighter flights to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport starting on 4 September in response to the growing demand for shipping operations. The scheduled weekly freighter flight will run from Jeddah to New York City.
Acting VP commercial, Rainer Mueller, stressed that, “this step will enhance the activity of air cargo operations to and from the United States conducted through the capacities available for both the seven weekly passenger and freighter flights scheduled to Washington DC as well as New York and Los Angeles.”
He went on to say: “With this added route, Saudia Cargo continues to provide its customers the access to greater opportunities in terms of cargo tonnage and future destinations.”
Saudia Cargo operates a fleet of dedicated freighters and sells the belly-capacity on passenger aircraft for Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier Saudia, spanning a rapidly expanding global network. In addition to its scheduled freighter services, the cargo airline also provides cost-effective and practical worldwide charter flight solutions from a growing fleet of dedicated charter aircraft.
