In December 2017, EFL (Expo Freight) a leading logistics provider in the subcontinent created history when it helped to transfer a shipment that went directly from India to Jamaica. The movement is significant because the 91.5 Tonnes piece has been identified as the heaviest single piece of cargo to move out of Mumbai airport ever and quite possibly one of the heaviest ever single piece civilian lift ex India. The cargo left on 20th December 2017 and made its way via a route that spans across two oceans and 14, 717 kilometers. This was the very first direct charter between these two destinations and is in alignment with EFL’s global ‘Dare to Do’ vision that encourages all employees to think big, innovate continuously and make their mark as pioneers in the logistics industry.
