Bolloré Logistics has appointed Julie Pirola as food & reefer product manager to lead the growth for the vertical in China.

Julie has been in the food and reefer logistics industry for 10 years and has helped build solutions in cold chain management and international freight forwarding for overseas producers, local importers, distributors and customs brokers.

“By working with our overseas network of experts and tapping on existing capabilities, as well as gearing up our team to respond to local service practices, we are in a good position to seize current market opportunities,” said Pirola.

The new food & reefer product manager will be based in Shanghai and will report directly to Jean-Philippe Retif, commercial director of Bolloré Logistics Greater China.

“Our ambition is to convert this vertical including the food processing cluster, into an additional driver of Bolloré Logistics’ growth in China,” commented Retif.
