Hong Kong’s airport authority and labour department are set to launch the second Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Virtual Job Fair on 2 and 3 December.
More than 1,000 job openings at over 30 companies across HKIA’s airport community will be on offer during the event, covering different roles in air cargo, airport security, baggage handling, technical services, engineering and customer service.
The airport authority said candidates can also apply for the management trainee and graduate engineer programmes for talented youth to support the future development of the airport.

A talk for aspiring management trainees will be hosted on 2 December from 1215hrs to 1245hrs, with current management trainees joining the post-talk chatroom to share their experience and answer questions from participants.
HKIA’s the two-day event will stream six live career talks to provide information about different roles in the aviation industry, as well as advice on job hunting and interviews.
Participants can visit company virtual booths online, browse vacancies and chat with company representatives to apply for jobs and arrange interviews.
In related news, Airport Authority Hong Kong has extended the airport community’s relief package for another two months until the end of January 2022, in view of the prolonged impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the aviation industry.
