Global freight forwarder GEODIS has announced the appointment of Eddie Chang as its new managing director for Malaysia, as the company looks to bolster its multimodal network across Southeast Asia.
With over 25 years of experience in the logistics sector, Chang will be responsible for leading growth in Malaysia, especially in key verticals like automotive, industrial and high tech.
The former managing director at Tigers Global Logistics and director at JAS Worldwide will also look to expand the company’s clientele, bringing with him expertise in air and sea freight, warehouse operations, contract Logistics, and e-commerce fulfillment.
Geodis said ongoing plans are in place to enhance the company’s integrated transport solutions, and Chang will play a key role in advancing the Malaysian hub, which connects its controlled flight network with its road transport services across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam via Kuala Lumpur.
