Industry experts, academics, and policymakers from 21 countries gathered in Abu Dhabi last week to take part in Pharma.Aero’s 5-day logistics masterclass.
The second edition of the International Pharma Logistics Masterclass took place last week at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, where 120 participants gathered for an intensive 5-day program of presentations, debates and practical workshops focused on key challenges for pharma logistics and pharma supply chains.
This year’s edition, ith the full support and active contribution of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, was an international joint initiative that brought together HOPE Consortium and Khalifa University of Science and Technology (UAE), the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and Pharma.Aero
Overall the event brought together participants representing 50 pharma supply and manufacturing companies, 5 world-renowned universities and government authorities from the UAE and Belgium.
The collaboration builds on Abu Dhabi’s growth as a global healthcare and life sciences hub, and the success of the HOPE Consortium, an Abu Dhabi-led public private partnership that is helping lead the global effort against the COVID-19 pandemic, in delivering over 260 million vaccine doses to over 60 nations around the world.
