IT service provider Awery Aviation Software has partnered with Dutch company DGOffice B.V. to automate dangerous goods documentation compliance.

DGOffice is helping Awery incorporate its Notification to Captain (NOTOC) module into the latter’s platform. The software will provide users with all required information to prepare shipments in accordance with the ICAO and IATA dangerous goods guidelines, including regulations, documentation, and packing.

Tristan Koch, commercial chief at Awery, said the partnership will enable the company to further streamline and digitise the booking process using its enterprise resource platform.

“Awery’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform provides full cargo management capabilities to airlines including real-time information on capacity and routings facilitating an instant search, quote, compare, and book solution via a customer portal, by email, or application programming interface (API).

“The addition of an integrated auto NOTOC feature is another important milestone in our development,” added Koch.

Standard procedure requires that an aircraft captain must be notified of any dangerous goods that have been loaded, including the loading position of such shipments.

“Integrating our NOTOC module in Awery’s platform allows users to comply instantly. This partnership will advance safe, secure and simple bookings,” said Vivian Labrecque, head of commerce at DGOffice.
