Hellmann Worldwide Logistics contintues its expansion strategy in the European market and has its eyes set on integrating Italian subsidiary Hellmann Worldwide Logistics S.p.A. otherwise known as Hellmann Italy.
The Milan-based company, which employs approximately 70 people at six locations, has been providing sea- and airfreight services in Italy since 2006.
Hellmann said the acquisition marks the company’s entry into this important European not only complete its network in the central Alpine region, but also widen its presence in the Mediterranean region, an important market for its seafreight operations.
Hellmann will expand its range of services through its own national company in Italy, and the operational business in Italy will continue with long-standing managing director, Daniela Coppola who will ensure the seamless continuation of all activities.
