FedEx Express has launched its fourth new B777F on flights from Singapore to the FedEx Super Hub in Memphis, Tennessee, via Osaka, Japan, replacing an MD-11F aircraft. The service will operate five times a week in response to what FedEx said was an “anticipated increase in cargo transportation demand in Singapore.”

Singapore was the US’ tenth largest export market in the first three months of 2010, up from 11th place in the first three months of 2009, with exports to Singapore rising 34.6 per cent, from US$5.2 billion in 2009 to $7.0 billion in 2010.

FedEx has already introduced a B777F service connecting Shanghai and Hong Kong to Memphis in January and March this year respectively.
