TIACA said the Air Logistics Network will become a comprehensive service that facilitates business for forwarders and air logistics professionals. One of the first offerings is ALN’s new online ‘Reference Center’, designed to provide useful links to practical regulatory and commercial references and tools to support the daily work of cargo agents globally. Networking opportunities at TIACA events with shippers, other forwarders and airlines will also be enhanced through the ALN’s one-to-one meeting scheduler. But before forwarders can take advantage of the new network, they will have to become TIACA members.
“This new initiative follows our offer of free of charge membership to shippers and is clearly designed to attract more shippers and forwarders to the Association from across the globe,†said TIACA secretary general Daniel Fernandez. “I am confident that the Air Logistics Network and other business incentives will bring measurable benefits to new members from these sectors of the industry and, subsequently, to the whole TIACA membership.â€Â
