Air freight forwarders are worried about the handling quality at Frankfurt airport, according to the German DVZ Brief. The article said 20 per cent of forwarders in Frankfurt rated the recent quality of the handling agents on the airport as “poor”, or even worse.

The assessment is the result of a recent survey of nearly 50 participating member companies of the Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association Hesse / Rhineland- Palatinate.

Only 18 per cent in this survey rated the handling processes as “good” or better. The article noted that those expressing a positive view would likely change their assessment should a threatened night flight ban be imposed by local governments.
