United Airlines said Wednesday it will press ahead with a controversial plan to outsource some international flying to Aer Lingus despite further cutbacks at the Irish carrier, according to Dow Jones. Schipol launches ‘scan street’
A new air cargo security project – Cargo Checkpoint - has been launched at Amsterdam Schiphol airport in the Netherlands. It uses a variety of systems to check cargo containers as they are driven through a so-called "scan street'' on trailers at a speed of 10 km an hour.
