Cargo operators will be able to consolidate freight loads coming into and out of Heathrow. The aim of this is not only to improve efficiency, but also reduce the number of trucks and emissions on the roads surrounding the airport. Volga-Dnepr delivers 11 generators to Madagascar
On-board a series of six An-124-100 freighter flights, Volga-Dnepr delivered 11 generators to Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar. The flights were completed over a 14-day period from the island of Mauritius on behalf of Kupa Proje Tasimacilik Ve Lojistik, a Turkish freight forwarder. Budapest airport sets cargo records and prepares to open new express facilities
March 2017 figures for the Budapest Airport were a record 11,536 tonnes of cargo, up 33.3 per cent on the same month last year, including 7,864 tonnes of airfreight, up 20 per cent on March 2016. In total, 30,060 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport in the first quarter of 2017.
