CEVA sued over toxic cargo in
Sulpicio Lines Inc., owner of MV Princess of the Stars that capsized in the Southern Philippines off Romblon in June, recently initiated court action to sue the air-and-sea freight services firm that loaded the toxic endosulfan cargoonboard the ill-fated passenger vessel. K+N still experiencing growth
Swiss global forwarder and logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel recently announced its results for the nine months to the end of September, figures which suggested a slowing of market demand but higher profits. In the January-September period, K+N experienced lower sales growth but higher profi ts. Hampered by inadequate transport infrastructure and a disorganised logistics sector, India’s national government has announced it is forming a council to help develop the sector.
