Satair Group has signed its first major contract with Safran Nacelles, covering global lifetime supply chain services for engine nacelle parts and components used on Airbus A340-500/600 jetliners. SIA Engineering Company Limited (“SIAEC”) and GE Aviation (“GE”) have agreed to establish a new engine overhaul joint venture based in Singapore. DHL awards A330-300P2F conversion contract to ST Aerospace
This follows the launch contract for four A330-300P2F conversions that was also awarded by DHL Express in July last year. The first aircraft under the launch contract is currently undergoing conversion at EFW’s Dresden-based facilities, and is on track to be redelivered by the end of 2017.
