Volga-Dnepr Gulf, Volga-Dnepr Technics’ subgroup branch in the Middle East, has successfully performed its first A-check on a B737-400 for the Slovenian airline SolinAir. A Volga-Dnepr Airlines’ An-124-100 freighter has transported a Sukhoi Superjet 100 fuselage as well as the aircraft’s wings and tail section from Komsomolsk-na-Amure in Khabarovsk krai to Zhukovsky, southeast of Moscow. The flight carried the detached airframe parts of an extended range and upgraded version of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft. Airwork orders seven AEI B737-400SF conversions
New Zealand-based Airwork has ordered two firm and five optional B737-400SF eleven pallet configuration passenger-to-freighter conversions from Aeronautical Engineers Inc. (AEI). Airwork will make the freighter aircraft available to its ACMI and dry lease customers.
