ASL tops up orders for Boeing’s 737-800BCF
Aircraft lessor and ACMI airline operator ASL Aviation Holdings earlier this week announced an order for up to 20 additional 737-800BCFs (Boeing converted freighters), bringing up its total order to 40 for the Boeing narrowbody freight jet. The agreement is for 10 firm orders and 10 purchase rights. ST Engineering and Airbus joint venture, Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW), has received the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for its head-of-version A320 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) aircraft. CDB Aviation to deliver China’s first A330-300P2F this year
Irish aircraft lessor CDB Aviation is on pace to launch the very first A330-300P2F converted freighter in China this year.
