EADS, Irkut sign conversion pact
EADS, the European consortium that is 80 percent owned by Airbus, and the Russian Irkut and MiG corporations have signed a preliminary agreement covering the conversion of A320 passenger jets into freighters. FedEx objects to FAA changes
Recent changes in landing procedures at Memphis International Airport have reduced airfi eld capacity, upsetting FedEx Corp. and others that need multiple runaways to maximise efficiency.
