Air services provider dnata has inked a deal with Jakarta-based PT UNEX Rajawali Indonesia or UNEX, a local ground handling and cargo warehouse company, to enhance ground handling capacity in Indonesian airports.
The tie-up will see dnata and UNEX make joint investments in facilities, equipment and training, with dnata designating senior operational and management staff to support the partnership.

First on the agenda is Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK), with plans to expand into other Indonesian airports over the next years.
“Indonesia’s expanding tourism economy, coupled with the fast-growing e-commerce market, further strengthens the already promising growth outlook for passenger services and the cargo logistics market in the country,” dnata noted.
The Dubai-based ground handler operates at 13 airports in the Asia-Pacific region, delivering reliable ground handling, cargo and catering services to over 80 airlines.
