Menzies Aviation plc has announced the opening of two further stations in Africa, in association with its partner, Aviation Handling Services (AHS). The two stations in question are at M’Poko International Airport, in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic and Bissau, in Guinea Bissau. Thai airport to expand cargo zone
The bonded warehouse area at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport will be expanded and separated from the under-utilised customs-free cargo zone, Deputy Transport Minister Sansern Wongcha-um said. Existing bonded warehouses managed by Thai Airways (THAI) and Bangkok Flight Services would be enlarged to satisfy growing cargo demand. EADS EFW starts 100th Airbus conversion
Dresden-based EFW last month started the conversion of the 100th aircraft since taking up this activity in 1996. The 19-year old A310-300 was formerly used by Turkish Airlines offering passenger services from Istanbul tomajor European destinations.
